Microscopes

SNSF: Electron & Ion Microscopy Facilities

The Electron & Ion Microscopy facilities in the McCullough, Moore and Spilker buildings features advanced tools for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Focused Ion Beam (FIB). (Materials science oriented)

Neuroscience Microscopy Service (NMS)

The NMS provides access to high-end, capital-intensive microscopy equipment that is often not available to individual labs. Facility was located in the basement of the Lorry Lokey Stem Cell Building (SIM1), suite G0901, all instruments except for the LSM710 are relocated to WuTsai Neuroscience Institute S080.

Histology & Cryostat

Human Pathology/Histology Service Center

Provides a broad range of tissue processing services to Stanford investigators in human disease research and provides advice and expertise in tissue processing.

Software

The Computational Services and Bioinformatics Facility

The CSBF provides computer software support.  Both commercial and public domain software for sequence analysis, molecular modeling and mathematical and statistical analysis are available at this facility.

Statistical Analysis Consultation

Department of Statistics Consulting Services

Free drop-in consulting service to members of the University community. Under the supervision of a senior faculty member, statistics doctoral candidates and experienced master's students provide assistance in areas such as: Experimental design, Data analysis and interpretation of results, Model fitting, Time series, Classification and prediction. Drop by, especially in the early stages of your research. At any stage, of course, you may bring data, prior analyses, or any other relevant material.

Genetics Bioinformatics Service Center

The Genetics Bioinformatics Service Center (GBSC) offers an end-to-end bioinformatics consulting service (BaaS) that provides high performance computational infrastructure and cutting edge bioinformatics services for the Stanford community. The team consults on genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, epigenetics, and metabolomics projects, and also develop custom workflows. For consulting and hands-on bioinformatics help with your projects please reach out here o set up an initial meeting.
