The Zeiss Elyra7 super-resolution microscope (widefield Apotome, laser scanning SIM, Lattice SIM, SMLM, TIRF)(CARL Zeiss Microsystems) can resolve structures down to 60nm, observe live cell dynamics at up to 255 fps, achieve sharpest sectioning in wide-field microscopy, run TIRF and single molecule detection(20-40nm axial resolution), or live, 3D, tiled imaging with realtime 3D deconvolution processing.

The Elyra7 is capable of simultaneous, fast, multi-channel 3D Stripe SIM/lattice SIM super-resolution imaging (tens of microns deep). In addition to the 3D SIM modality, Elyra7 has also been designed for stochastic localization super resolution (PALM/dSTORM/PAINT ~lateral 10-20nm). Additionally, two sensitive detectors (Duolink Hamamatsu ORCA Fusion BT sCMOS qe~95%) are installed to enable ultrafast live-cell 3D, simultaneous widefield imaging at diffraction-limited resolution with extremely high temporal resolution and rapid, multichannel 3D structured illumination super resolution.

  • Real-time job DIRECT processing on workstation linked directly to the controller PC.
